Plymouth | North Miami Beach FL

One of the rarer brands you might see here at Prestige Imports is Plymouth. A former subsidiary of Chrysler, the brand got its start in 1928 as a competitor to Chevy and Ford. Through the years, Plymouth made a host of ordinary people movers until it was discontinued at the turn of the century. However, in the midst of those unextraordinary sedans and trucks, were a few diamonds in the rough. While there were quite a few of these diamonds found in the Plymouth rough, the most iconic was probably the Barracuda.
It’s high-performance, exotic vehicles like this that you might occasionally see pass through our inventory, or restored versions of other classic Plymouth cars. At the time of this page’s creation, there’s a beautiful 1968 Plymouth Barracuda parked in our showroom that we absolutely adore. If you’re interested in a classic Plymouth vehicle, don’t hesitate to let us know, and we’ll keep our eyes peeled for you!

PerformanceWhile the Plymouth brand was more well-known for creating those ordinary cars and trucks we mentioned, vehicles like the Barracuda and Slingshot offered impressive engines and performance for their day.

LegacyWhile Plymouth might not carry as famous a legacy as other discontinued brands on the market, vehicles like the Barracuda will always stick out in enthusiasts’ minds, and we’ll always have a place for them here at Prestige.
